Joinery Techniques

When you come to us for a piece of handmade, custom furniture, we offer a 360 degree look at what you can expect. Nothing is hidden or covered up, no corners cut.    Most importantly, we want you to be an educated consumer.

From the moment you step into our workshop or showroom, we will guide you through each phase of construction, from beginning to end. Jim employs precise joinery techniques such as hand cut dovetails, true mortise and tenons, pegs and wedges,(to name a few) in place of modern day fastners or quick and easy short-cuts. Even if you choose not to purchase a piece of furniture from us, you will leave, knowing more about the importance of quality joinery, and what goes into each of our pieces. So, don't be afraid to ask questions, look underneath, or inside....

We welcome you to SEE beyond the LOOK!

This is poor workmanship and NOT anything that should be used in furniture joinery. This will FAIL in a short period of time
